Ken Hoxworth, Lead Developer

Ken joined Soteria after serving as a Global Network Exploitation and Vulnerability Analyst for the National Security Agency. Combining his knowledge of data networks with his expertise in software engineering, he has developed a number of systems and utilities to automate analytical routines.

As a member of the Network Analysis Center at NSA, he initiated an agency-wide shift towards analyzing real-time data by creating a prototype stream data processing system. By keeping things simple and utilizing lightweight algorithms, his prototype was an immediate success and was used as the basis for an enterprise-class processing system. Ken designed and orchestrated the development of a distributed data processing system to support a graphical network analysis utility boasting high fault tolerances, simple addition of logic modules and unlimited scalability.
